STEP TO THE BEAT
When the boy bands of yesteryear ditched the matching suits and started to make regular visits to Granny Takes A Trip, the go-to psychedelic boutique in swinging London, the only thing they didn’t need to trade in from their clean cut years were those short leather boots – a true testament to their versatility. If a piece in your wardrobe can take you from herringbone and tweed to something like this Granny Takes A Trip jacket owned by The Beatles’ George Harrison (below right), it’s
certainly worth the investment.
Luckily, short boots are all over the place at the moment so regardless of whether your style is buttoned up or buttoned down, A Hard Day’s Night or Sticky Fingers, there are plenty of options to keep you on your toes this season and beyond. Check out the styles featured below and, if you need further convincing, stay tuned for tomorrow’s post where I’ll put together some ideas on how to wear them.
