SEEING IN TECHNICOLOR
Continuing on our French New Wave tangent…why not try a little color with that liquid eyeliner? Light blue looks great with fair skin, dark hair, and a pink lip as seen on Anna Karina in Une Femme Est Une Femme, but the concept will work with whatever color suits you best. Try applying a small amount of pressed powder eyeshadow on the lid, slightly into the crease, and out to what will be the edge of your sweep of eyeliner. Écriture de Chanel will help you to get that clean, sharp Nouvelle Vague liquid line even if you don’t yet have a steady hand, but use a cotton swab with a bit of lotion in an upward and outward motion from underneath the line to make sure your cat eyes match.
