PUMP IT UP
I thought it would be a nice idea to sketch the various types of high heels until I realized that would be my life’s work. So, instead, here is a fairly good selection of the general types of pumps available right now. It’s no wonder we have such trouble keeping our shoe wardrobes in check when such an infinite variety is a mouse-click away. Illustrations by Michelle Ricks

This is so great! Worthy of a place on any woman’s wall.
I own quite a few of these but had no idea how to categorize them. This is so cool! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks ladies! Glad you enjoy the drawing.
Thank you very much for this wonderful collection.
Do you have that kind of summary for boots as well?
Thanks anyway…
So handy! Makes me want to collect one of everything. I hope you don’t mind I linked to it on my personal blog, not too sure of the protocol on this so if you mind please let me know.
Go for it, Rae. Thanks for asking. Perhaps just provide a link back to this page.

There is one missing. Unfortunately, it is the one I am looking for. It is a heel with strap and around the ankle and usually a skinny strap across the toes. Its very simple. I hope you can help.
Please tell me you sell this one as a poster! Or at least as a large resolution image so I can make it into one myself. Let me know! Thanks in advance.
The new E&W will be up in a few weeks and it will have a web shop where you can purchase prints of many of my illustrations (including this one). Check back soon!
I love this! Sold and Fit shoes for longer then I will say. I truely need one of these. Can’t wait to purchase this.

Hello!
I’m a shoe fanatic and came across this on Pinterest. I am doing a series of posts on shoes next month and I wanted to use this drawing on my Style Me Monday Post on my blog but wanted to get your permission first. I would be happy to link the image back to your post and credit the original artist as well.
Please let me know ASAP if this would be alright with you
Go ahead, Rebecca. Thanks for checking with me!
