A BEAUTIFUL LIFE IN BLACK AND WHITE
Jeanloup Sieff (1933-2000) is widely regarded as one of the most important fashion and portraiture photographers of his generation. A member of the Magnum Agency (whose founder is the famed Henri Cartier-Bresson), Sieff’s spent upwards of forty years traveling around the world shooting for publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Esquire. Though perhaps best known for his black and white nudes, here is a collection of Sieff’s photographs that you can freely browse with an audience. If you like what you see, there are several books which can offer you more insight into his life and work.
