You know those people who have an uncanny knack for editing – for sorting through a whole jungle of things to find the best item in the lot before you can say, ‘sensory overload’? My lovely mother happens to be one such person and has, among other talents, a special gift for finding great jewelry online. Agreeable woman that she is, she offered to do a bit of shopping for E&W readers and three of her finds (of the earring variety) are listed below. These are vintage and, as far as I know, the only pair available so don’t hesitate to purchase if you like what you see. Check in tomorrow and over the next few weeks to see what else she’s picked out.
* I know it’s a crap title. I just couldn’t help myself…

Late Deco Silver and Marcasite Earrings – possibly German or Scandinavian – $185 at Ruby Lane
Sterling Silver, Marcasite, Onyx, and Mother of Pearl Earrings – Judith Jack – $90 at Ruby Lane
Medallion Rhinestone Earrings (sold in a pair) – Unsigned – $150 at Ruby Lane
It’s important to note that most vintage earrings have clip backs which can be replaced by posts at your local jeweler. Don’t let a good pair go because you, like many women, hate clip-ons!
