CLOTHES HORSES
Given how fanatical people can be about horses (yours truly included) and how much well-connected people like putting together Vogue-centric coffee tables books, I’m quite surprised those two worlds haven’t met. Dogs in Vogue exists. Why not Horses in Vogue?
The magazine spent its early days around racetracks and polo fields (albeit handicapping the society ladies, not the horses) and has since used the noble beasts for added elegance and/or contrast in photo spreads. The following collection of horses in Vogue skews more recent but you can imagine the herd of great equine editorials in pre-internet back issues. I really must get a hold of that online archive!
