BROOCHING THE SUBJECT
I have a sneaking suspicion that brooches are going to return to prominence in a big way very soon. There’s something about the resurgence of 20s silhouettes and ladylike pearls that suggests delicate and ornate may upset the monopoly tailored minimalism has held these past few seasons. Until then, you could use a lovely bag for your holiday events, right?
Before we’re all wearing brooches on our blazers, why not collect a few from your local vintage shop, flea market, or jewelry box and adorn a simple evening clutch? The result will be a unique, modifiable, and expensive-looking addition to your holiday wardrobe.
