Speaking of Monte Carlo…
Before there was January Jones’ Betty Draper, there was Grace Kelly’s Frances Stevens. During filming of both Mad Men and Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief, I can’t image that each woman wasn’t followed around by a gaggle of minders whose sole task was to keep each of their blonde hairs in place. They look that immaculate.
If you haven’t seen To Catch a Thief, it’s worth a look if not just for the Edith Head designed costumes and beautiful French Riviera scenery. The movie, though, is really quite fun, too. You’re sure to be inspired by watching it in one way or another.
