About

ABOUT EVER & WRIGHT

Ever and Wright is a blog about a way of being in the material world – a method of interacting with fashion and style that is neither too acquisitive nor too academic, too derisive nor altogether ignorant of the humor that can be found in the things we love. Most importantly, however, this blog is not a platform where I, the author, propagandize my tastes (though a fashionable dictatorship sounds somewhat appealing). Instead, through suggestions and information, I hope to show you a way of thinking that can streamline the way you make decisions about your aesthetic self, helping to create a unique style that will last. The only agenda that Ever and Wright will shamelessly push is the importance of timelessness and quality – of what is (for)Ever W(right).

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Michelle Ricks, somewhat aptly, came into being shortly after interrupting the television premier of Designing Women. A California native, she spent her childhood in the Bay Area and her college years in Los Angeles. While completing a degree in English Literature at UCLA, Michelle explored and cultivated her varied creative interests which led from graphic design, to modeling, and much more seriously to photography. Today, Michelle lives in New York City which, beyond its own virtues, serves as a convenient hub between her loved ones on the West Coast and in Europe.
